Tissue and laboratories
The Department of Pathological Histology and Medical Laboratories at the Institute provides the highest levels of accuracy and quality of diagnostic examinations, and provides services with high professionalism commensurate with international standards.
The department provides a range of medical services through the latest laboratory equipment working around the clock, and the blood drawing department provides sampling services for more than 200 patients daily.
The Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department is proud to have a distinguished and highly qualified workforce of approximately 40 employees, which includes consultants, pathologists, analytical scientists, technical technicians, and support staff.
Pathologists at the National Institute of Pathologists are key members of clinics, multidisciplinary teams, oncology boards, and all educational patient care activities.
They work hard to ensure the accuracy of internal and external disease data that is necessary in planning patient care. In addition, the Pathology and Medical Laboratories Department has contributed to the training and education of medical cadres (doctors and laboratory technicians) from all over the country to ensure the graduation of distinguished medical cadres capable of serving patients to the fullest and within International standards pursued by the Institute.

The mission of the Department of Surgery at the National Institute of Oncology is to provide high-level health care for cancer patients, and to achieve this goal, the department’s management has built a medical cadre with distinguished expertise in various surgical specialties, which includes (consultants, surgeons, colleagues and residents).
