Diagnostic Radiology
About
The Diagnostic Radiology Department provides the necessary tests for the diagnosis and follow-up of cancer patients. The department contains two MRI machines, the latest in technology in this field.
The department also contains three advanced equipment for tomography, ultrasound, and x-ray.
The institute also provides an integrated breast imaging unit to diagnose breast diseases through two digital breast imaging devices, and advanced devices for taking biopsies of breast tumors, which facilitated the provision of care, and provided more privacy for women.

The Diagnostic Radiology Department provides many services:
- Breast Disease Diagnostics Unit.
- Magnetic Resonance.
- Computed tomography.
- Ultrasound.
- General X-ray pictures.
- The Diagnostic Radiology Department also provides an accredited program for training, and for the examination of the Libyan Board of Medical Specialties, and the Arab Medical Council.
